The monograph is the first comprehensive historiographic work in which an analysis of the achievements of Polish historiography of the second half of the 19th - early 21st centuries in the study of the Krakow historical school was carried out. The features of the historiographic process at different stages of the development of Polish historical science were clarified, the dominant images of the Krakow historical school in specific periods of Polish history were revealed.
