The book discusses the foundations of the Buddhist theory of knowledge, in particular, presents classifications of cognitive acts from the point of view of the development of the mind, contains a course of lectures on the subject "Mind and Knowledge" by the modern Tibetan scientist Zhamyang Kenze, translated into Russian, and the text of a Tibetan source of the 18th century, on the basis of which this course was read.
