The book by Leonid Alexandrovich Zabello, who headed the Vitebsk Tram Museum for many years, is dedicated to the history of this type of urban transport, the oldest in Belarus and one of the oldest in Russia. Published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Vitebsk tram and city power station, the book covers its history from 1898 to the mid-1960s, when it was written.
