Birch-Kartuzskaya concentration camp was created by the Polish government in 1934 to isolate the "unreliable" (socialists, communists, Ukrainian nationalists) and lasted until September 1939. The book presents the memories of people who at different times passed through the camp, as well as documents relating to its activities. The book is illustrated.
