The collection is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chelyabinsk province. The sources included in the book are intended to give a voluminous picture of the public life of the province in 1919-1923, covering all its spheres - political, social, economic and spiritual. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of the policy of "war communism" and the NEP, the material and living conditions of the population, the cultural and religious aspects of the development of the province. The bulk of the published sources are paperwork, in addition to them, legislation, acts, sources of personal origin, photographs and cartographic material are involved.
