In information search theory, the word "thesaurus" is used to refer to dictionaries of the names of concepts and their classification relationships. The thesaurus of scientific and technical terms is a collection of scientific and technical terminology (about 19 thousand terms), selected and systematized on the basis of statistical analysis of the vocabulary of scientific and political texts. The thesaurus is intended for employees of research institutes and a wide range of scientific and editorial workers involved in the processing and search for information and editing of scientific and technical literature.
