Circassians (Circassians of the North Caucasus). In Greek and Latin, Circassians are called "zikhs." and in his own sophistication his name is "adyge." The historical past of the people, the nature and features of its centuries-old culture determine the coefficient of scientific interest in this people and its culture. In this sense, the Circassians are a very significant object for researchers of the history of the Caucasus in general and the history of culture in particular. They belong to the oldest main population of the Caucasus and the primary inhabitants of Europe.
