The book outlines the foundations of the theory of computable general equilibrium models (or CGE models) and provides complete descriptions of four models of this class that consider sectoral, regional and institutional aspects of the Russian economy. The advantages of CGE models over other economic modeling methods are discussed in detail and the main stages of CGE models design are described. In addition, the issues of calibration of CGE models are separately discussed, the mechanisms of their operation and the most common technological methods for their numerical resolution are described. The last chapter presents the results of calculating the consequences of the implementation of various government management decisions.
