The textbook was written on the basis of a course of lectures given by the author for more than 30 years in various legal, psychological, religious universities of the USSR and Russia. It corresponds to a standard criminology program for Russian universities with a degree in Jurisprudence. The whole course is permeated by the original author's four-link model of the causes and conditions of criminal behavior and crime, their types, on which the concept of levels, types, methods and techniques of general social, microenvironment, group and individual crime prevention is based, starting with the general and ending with special and special parts, which improves the assimilation of educational material.
