This book is an account of a journey undertaken in the spring and summer of 2004 by actor Evan McGregor and his friend Charlie Burman. The British film star and his companion covered the distance from London to Magadan and Anchorage to New York in 16 weeks. Evan and Charlie, according to them, just wanted to fulfill their childhood dream, but the budget for a round-the-world voyage turned out to be too big even for their fees. So the desire to ride around the world was transformed into a whole project - with sponsors, assistants and a cameraman. Only the basic idea remained unchanged: a powerful tuned bike, full luggage racks and thousands of kilometers of road.
