The purpose of this three-volume publication, on the one hand, is to initiate a systematic study of the experience of the civil war and to give all students of this experience minimal material and basic background data for this study, on the other hand, to push forward the development of civil war issues both by archival materials and by memoirs and instructions of the participants in this war.
