The monograph systematizes the results of research on inequalities for the norms of intermediate derivatives (Kolmogorov-type inequalities) of functions with different domains. The focus is on precise inequalities of this type. Both classic and recent results are presented. The relationships of these inequalities with various extreme analysis problems are considered. In particular, a number of applications of exact Kolmogorov-type inequalities in approximation theory are given.
