The tutorial focuses on the mechanics of liquids and gases. The kinematics of a continuous medium in Euler and Lagrange variables is presented. Dynamics of ideal fluid with the basics of vortex theory is considered. A complete system of equations for the dynamics of a compressible ideal fluid was investigated, taking into account the corresponding equations of thermodynamics. The dynamics of a viscous liquid, the foundations of the theory of turbulence, magnetic hydrodynamics are discussed.
