This book deals with the geometry of some classes of homogeneous spaces. The concept of space with symmetries is introduced, which is a generalization of the concept of symmetric space. It is shown that many provisions of the theory of symmetric spaces can be extended to broad classes of spaces with symmetries. A classification of homogeneous spaces defined by periodic automorphisms of classical simple Lie groups is given.
