This textbook has been prepared on the basis of lecture courses given at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, taking into account modern requirements for training economists. The textbook discusses the basic concepts of institutional economics: formal and informal institutions, transaction costs, property rights, contracts, offers an institutional analysis of the company, the state, discusses the problems of the development of institutions.
