Characteristics and applications of existing methods of welding and gluing plastics are given, the weldability of plastics and their ability to glue depending on various factors are described. Technology and equipment for welding and gluing pipes, sheets, films and other plastic products are considered, recommendations are given for the choice of technological parameters of welding and gluing, the optimal design of welded and adhesive joints, as well as welding of different types of polymers and molding.
