Tutorial focuses on signal modeling and processing in Matlab 9.6 and Mathcad 14. The most commonly used signals for active and passive sonar are considered. The properties of harmonic signals, random signals of simple and complex video and radio pulses are described in detail. Examples of modeling and processing these signals in Matlab 9.6 and Mathcad 14 are also discussed and described in detail. All examples are accompanied by practical tasks for self-execution.
