This issue is devoted to the study of one of the least developed problems in Soviet folklore - the relationship of Russian folk poetry with the folklore of other Slavic peoples and scientific relationships in the study of the folk poetic culture of the Slavs. Along with Soviet folklorists, researchers from fraternal socialist countries - specialists in Slavic folklore - take part in the issue.
