The monograph discusses the oxidative transformations of organic oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur-containing compounds that take place under the influence of hydroperoxides in the presence of transition metals. The mechanism and stereochemistry of hydroperoxide epoxidation of olefins, the direction of use of the new reaction are discussed.
