For the first time in the manual, the expressive properties of the main syntactic units of the German language are systematized: phrases, sentences, a complex syntactic whole. In the framework of the proposed approach, expressivity is considered as a result of the processes of metaphorization, metonymization, implication, generalizing repetition, dismemberment, inclusion, displacement and metasymbolization.
