The publication introduces the work of the famous Irish romantic poet Thomas Moore (1779-1882) in the original and in translations into Russian made by V. Zhukovsky, I. Kozlov, M. Lermontov, A. Pleshcheev, A. Fet, V. Bryusov, K. Balmont, M. Aliger, P. Grushko et al. Russian and Soviet poets and translators. The collection includes the poetic cycles "Irish Melodies" and "Melodies of Different Peoples," as well as fragments from the poem "Lalla Rook" and "Tales of the Holy Union."
