This book for the first time describes in sufficient detail the entire course of the battles at Perekop in September-October 1941, as well as analyzed the unsuccessful actions of Soviet troops in the Northern Crimea in March-May 1942, which ended in the Kerch disaster and the defeat of the Crimean Front. Based on the use of archival and military-historical materials, the authors in the present work sought to make their modest contribution to the coverage of these events.
