Theoretical foundations, production technology and use of sintered soft magnetic materials for the manufacture of magnetic systems in electrical products are presented. Physical and mechanical properties of iron-silicon materials of different composition are given, as well as mechanical tests of magnetic systems. Requirements for magnetic systems, their properties and design are described.
