Body Snatchers is a famous book that influenced the work of many writers and filmmakers. The theme of the invasion of unfriendly reason from other worlds has always worried people, and is presented very generously in literature: Midwich Cuckoo John Wyndham, Puppeteers Robert Heinlein, Tomminokers Stephen King... The latter even devoted a whole chapter to this novel in his collection Dance of Death, which tells about the development of the Anglo-American horror.
