The work is the result of many years of archaeological research in the Weboya Valley. It analyzes in detail archaeological sites of the XIV-XV centuries. and on the basis of ceramic material, separate historical and cultural areas are distinguished. A large place in the monograph is given to the comparison of monuments of material culture with data from written sources about Turkmens on Ueboy. The work considers such important problems as the watering of Weboy during the Middle Ages and the ethnogenesis of the Turkmen people.
