After extensive discussion with the public, about 8,000 terms were selected for the Mountain Encyclopedia (titles of articles) on such large thematic sections as mineral geology, rocks and minerals, deposits and basins of minerals of the world, technique and technology for exploration and development of solid, liquid and gaseous minerals, construction of mining facilities and underground structures, mineral processing, mineral resources, mining, health and safety, subsoil and geological environment protection, mining enterprises, foreign firms, scientific and educational institutions, biographical articles.
