The textbook discusses the physical foundations of quantum electronics - a field of physics that studies both methods of amplification and generation of electromagnetic radiation by using the effect of induced emission in thermodynamically nonequilibrium quantum systems, as well as the features of amplifiers and generators created in this way, as well as their application. The physical foundations of working processes in one of the most important parts of the laser - the resonator - are described.
