The book will acquaint high school students with the basics of Orthodoxy. Its pages set out the history of the emergence of Christianity and its establishment in Russia, briefly describe other world religions - Buddhism and Islam, tell about the main dogmas of Christianity, about Orthodox saints, about icon painting and icon veneration, about the main Christian prayers, holidays and fasts.
