This collection includes descriptions of a number of exhibits, the authors of which were awarded prizes and diplomas in the departments of the exhibition, covering the main radio engineering areas in the activities of designers. Therefore, the collection contains four sections: "Short-wave and ultra-short-wave equipment," "Television," "Radio receiving and recording equipment," "Measuring equipment." The compilers of the collection sought to select descriptions so that they sufficiently characterized the main directions of their section and the interests of the exhibition participants. At the same time, of course, it was taken into account that some designs were already published in the magazine "Radio" and other publications.
