And Moscow saw in itself the Third Rome, the Second Jerusalem, but most of all - a special inheritance of the Most Pure Virgin on earth. The capital of the Orthodox kingdom was glorified not only by victories on the battlefield and the establishment of power in the vast expanses of Eurasia, it also developed rapidly in the field of culture.
