The first domestic training manual, in which the main concepts and methods of genetic engineering are discussed in detail and intelligibly. In the book, a large number of examples are used to critically analyze approaches to cloning and expression of foreign genes in cells of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, yeast and cells of higher eukaryotes.
