In the theoretical heritage of V.I. Lenin, not only works relating to religion, but also all the most important philosophical works have a pronounced atheistic orientation. They are the scientific basis of the policy of the Communist Party and the Soviet state in relation to religion and the church, and in their aggregate represent a deeply consistent doctrine of ways to overcome religious ideas in the minds of people.
