The fifth edition of the anthology includes works of oral folk art, poems and stories of Russian, Soviet and foreign writers, recommended by the "Program of upbringing and education in kindergarten" (M., 1985) for reading and telling children aged from the first year of life to five years, as well as literary material for additional reading.
