Information is provided on a new waterproofing material - colloidal cement mortar (KCR), developed by VNIIG named after B.E. Vedeneev in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences. The results of studies of the waterproofing and physical and mechanical properties of SCR are reported, which made it possible to recommend the use of plaster waterproofing made of SCR at facilities operated in harsh conditions. Mechanized technology of CRS preparation and application on isolated concrete surfaces is considered in detail. Examples of waterproofing from SCR and the results of its operation on hydraulic engineering, industrial and residential structures of Siberia, the Urals, the Far East and the Far North are given.
