Breeding in the USSR of various tree and shrub species is carried out in huge sizes. Recently, a number of valuable foreign and foreign species have been increasingly included in the number of breeds. Meanwhile, instructions for breeding many of them are either absent in our literature, or they are very fragmentary and scattered. On the other hand, significant experimental material on this issue, so far largely unpublished, has accumulated, especially recently. This work is the first attempt to bring together disparate experimental and literary material on the culture of a number of foreign and foreign rocks in the USSR.
