Klein's group-theoretic construction of geometry, as he first sketched it in 1872 in his Erlangen Program and then developed in more detail in 1893 in his Introduction to Higher Geometry, is now as important and vital as it was then for the further development of geometry, as well as physics. Therefore, perhaps many will welcome the new edition of these lectures.
