In the very center of modern Moscow there is a gang of cruel robbers. They are ruthless to their victims, and miraculously survivors claim that they were attacked by bearded men in kosovorotki and bast shoes. On the trail of the "mummers" is the best operative of the MUR Nikolai Belsky. He manages to go to the gang, lure them out and eliminate the killers.
