Major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Matvey Abramov is only thirty-five years old, and his life has already worn out. To somehow distract from the bleak workdays, he visits the luxurious Crystal Club, located in a two-story mansion of the late nineteenth century, every week. There, the investigator floods sorrows with expensive alcohol and makes random connections for one night.
