Stavros Mentsos, drawing on rich clinical and therapeutic experience, expresses his ideas about the nature and dynamics of mental disorders, based on a psychodynamic approach. In many ways, these perceptions are at odds with official psychiatric doctrine. This book is an excellent and convincing example of how psychodynamic thinking can enrich our understanding of psychotic and other mental disorders.
