Between is a novel on the verge of history and myth. The plot takes place against the epic background of Celtic Britain, covering more than two millennia - from the construction of Stonehenge to the reign of King Arthur and the appearance of the Grail. This novel was written thanks to many years of study of Celtic culture, but at the same time it is connected not so much with Tristan and Isolde as with Eugene Onegin, Demon (with an unexpectedly happy ending) and, mainly, Anna Karenina, with whom there is a controversy not for life, but for death.
