This collection is based on the materials of the 20th annual conference "History and Culture of Japan," held in February 2018 at the Russian State Humanitarian University and the National Research University "Higher School of Economics." The collection includes articles on the history of Japan, its religions, literature, philosophy, cinema, as well as materials on the history of relations between Japan and Russia and translations of several monuments of Japanese literature.
