Modern methods of treatment and dewatering of municipal wastewater sludge, as well as the design of installations and devices are considered and summarized. Calculation of the most promising sediment treatment methods and examples of calculations are given. The issues of disposal of sludge of urban wastewater are described. Technologies for obtaining fertilizer, fodder products, building materials from sediments are given.
