Blaise Pascal - the great French scientist and thinker of the XVII century. The book systematizes fundamental facts, on the basis of an analysis of various materials (including those that have not previously been published), various ways of influencing the personality and work of Blaise Pascal on the worldview and literary activity of Russian writers of the last three centuries are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the closeness of the views of the 17th century French thinker and some classics of Russian literature regarding human nature.
