To the release of the most anticipated blockbuster "We" in Russia. The fantastic dystopian novel "We" by E. Zamyatin was written in 1920 and largely influenced the main dystopias of the twentieth century "Brave New World" by O. Huxley and "1984" George Orwell. The novel "We" describes a society of strict totalitarian control over the person (names and surnames are replaced by letters and numbers, the state controls even intimate life), ideologically based on the denial of fantasy, controlled by the "Benefactor" who is "elected" on an uncontested basis. The proposed publication contains not only the legendary dystopian novel, but also a number of journalistic articles describing the writer's political views, his attitude to historical events, which he witnessed.
