The book is a popular publication that introduces the reader to today's problems of controlled thermonuclear fusion (CCM). The main one is the creation of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) on a semi-industrial scale with a thermal capacity of 500 MW in France by the international community.
