The hero of this book lived, by today's standards, a very short life - only sixty years: 1936-1997. The last nineteen years of his life fell on emigration, of which he spent seven years in Israel and the remaining twelve in America, in the glorious city of Boston. In Russia, the writer was known mainly as the author of books about musicians and artists. Russians born in the 1960s and 1970s still remember Rosiner's books about Churlenis, Grieg, Prokofiev read by them in childhood. And this despite the fact that Felix Yakovlevich graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, after which he worked in an engineering position at the Acoustic Institute. However, in parallel, he studied at the conservatory in the violin class and attended the literary association of poets.
