Fundamentals of Fluid Physical Properties, Hydrostatics, Kinematics, and Hydrodynamics. The issues of hydraulic resistance, calculations of pipelines with steady and unstoppable movement, fluid leakage through holes and nozzles, uniform and uneven movement in open channels, water filtration in soils, and the foundations of the similarity theory are considered. Considerable attention is paid to practical solutions of hydraulic problems, examples of tasks are given in each chapter.
