The nineteenth book of Works by S M Solovyov includes his doctoral dissertation "The History of Relations between the Russian Princes of Rurikov at Home," published in 1847, "Russian Chronicle for Initial Reading" (last published in 1908), which was intended at one time for young readers and contains an exposition in the new Russian language of the ancient Russian annals up to half of the 13th century, as well as "Essay on the morals, customs and religions of the Slavs, mainly oriental" from the collection "Archive of historical and legal information relating to Russia" (M., 1850)
