"The Relationship between the Self and the Unconscious" is considered Jung's main theoretical work. True, it cannot be called a generalizing review of the Jung doctrine, but it can be considered an introduction to analytical psychology, to its spirit and methods. After all, the basis of the foundations of analytical psychology is the relationship between the "I" and the unconscious, that is, between the personal and collective principles of the psyche. Jung seeks to provide scientific answers to the questions posed by general psychology - about the nature, structure and functions of the human psyche.
