The physical nature of solidification processes is described, taking into account the influence of gravitational, thermoconcentration, thermocapillary and forced convection arising in closed micro- and macro-volumes of interacting phases. Various technologies and methods of thermophysical impact on metal, vibration treatment, mixing, application of electromagnetic fields and pressures on hardening metal are considered.
